Did the mini dome allow for a good basketball atmosphere?

I don't know what it holds, but the attendance was 5,800 tonight. One side was empty, so it must hold 12-15,000. The last minute or two of the GW-ETSU game was loud. Lots of room behind each backboard, too. They had a small set of bleachers on each side.

What is Matt yelling all the time when FAU is offense? Is it "mind game" or "my game" or something like that? I think he is calling a play. One good thing about ETSU losing, I got to sit 6 rows up at center court.

After frantically running around town to find a bar that would have CSS I managed to get lucky, 4 bars into my search. I was lucky enough to watch the poor shooting. It's all been said. Everybody was off. Rodney should have taken over, he was the only one I saw hit a three. We just couldn't capitalize on our chances.
Sorry if anybody headed to the Ale House to catch the game, I was there for a bit, and, unlike what the hostess said, they weren't getting the game.
If anybody wants to catch the games tonight, Flanagans in Deerfield Beach has Comcast Cable.
A sad end to a great season, I can't wait until next year. Go Owls!

Its sad that we ended this way but I am still hoping for the women to shine (plus I will get an extra spring break if they go to the NCAA tourney. The band will get to finally travel).

Yes, great season. This is the closest I have ever followed FAU basketball. The web has alot to do with that, especially with a cable internet connection.

Matt Doherty, get a game up here against big 10 Illinois. An hour away from me. I'll be able to go to see it live and should be a great game. I'll even drag some people with me and make them cheer for FAU.

One last thing on the minidome. It was a hollow feeling without people in it. There may have been 500 people there for the FAU game. There is no need for FAU to worry about seating capacity until they actually grow out of their current facilities. Personally, I believe the proposed dome at FAU is immature. Facilities won't bring recruits in if the stands are empty. Build a 20,000 seat football field on the campus. When demand exceeds that, move to the next step. Same for basketball. If they are going to find the kind of money that they are talking about, use it to build training facilities. I follow Penn State quite a bit, since I grew up there. When recruits up there talk about facilites, they aren't talking about Beaver Stadium, they are talking about the state-of-the-art weight room.
