FAU is dead last in the ASUN in team batting average, home runs, and RBI's. Lets hope we can get the bats going soon with the conference season starting tomorrow and Stetson coming in two weeks. Cmon FAU lets go out there and beat up GArdner Webb this weekend!!

Either way, they've done pretty good so far considering that this is the weakest team since 2000. Their reputation alone might land them a regional spot again if they do well enough in conference play.

This year does remind a lot of 2001, we had lost a lot of great players from 1999-2000 teams and it took a year before we got rolling again.
With each passing game Rusty Brown,Jeff Fiorentino, and Rob Horst are looking better and better. The three straight great years they brought us were wonderful and its hard not to be spoiled and expect 2002-2004 type accomplishments every year.
Lets hope reputation helps us but in a smaller conference like we play in it will only go so far. Right now it looks the ASUN is a two bid conference with UCF being a lock for one, weve just gotta make sure its us with the second and not Stetson.

You're right, it does look like a 2-bid conference this year. UCF, in spite of their No. 26 ranking, is still in recovery, and Stetson has been a shadow of its former self in recent years.
