Van Gundy won't be coming because he's still under contract with the Heat. That's why he's only consulting at St. Thomas, not coaching. Plus, the reason he "supposedly" quit the Heat was to spend more time with his family remember.

There is some truth to what is being said but if we are what if'ing then what if Rex stays builds the program takes it to the next conference and has his name memorialized at FAU. There is always two side and both sides should be looked at equal to the other.

Well if that is the case, then I would think that is good news for Rex. Doesn't seem like they have brought in anyone for an interview or we probably would have heard something about it.

If my "feeling" is right, you might be on to something ;) all I've heard whispers about is a press conference. But I'm no Craig Angelos, so I can't guarantee anything. I'm also not Sportsparadise :D
