Re: dropped a little in RPI poll

I think the UCF one hurt the most.

What an Enigma that team is.

SOLID wins against us, Miami, etc.. yet a crappy record in confrence play.

Strange to say the least.

I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick @$$ and I'm out of bubble gum.

well let's get it back with wins against gulf coast & florida… that should help!
And since we don't have a conference match-up this weekend we can play our better pitchers?

also, have we ever beaten florida?

Re: dropped a little in RPI poll

We beat the Gators last year up there when we were not that great and the last time we were in the Coral Gables regional, we beat the Gators in game 1 and then were eliminated by them later on.

The Gators are really good this year, but begin a conference series (Georgia) on Friday so hopefully we get their 4th best pitcher (like we do in typical mid-week games).  I don't care if they pitch their grandmother, a win would be great.  We can even use starters out of the pen if that's what it takes.  We have plenty of time to rest.
