FAU back on the winning track...

...with a 11-5 win over Harvard to go to 16-9 on the year. Brandon Kloess got his third win on the year on the mound for FAU. Mike McBryde went 3 for 5 with 2 steals(now 21 on the year), and Robbie Widlansky homered to lead the offense. Now its on to Jacksonville for a Friday game at noon.

Good win even with the B-team lineup in the game.

Any time you can get part-timers Bobby DiLiberto and Daniel Terpak in the starting nine and come away with a convincing victory, that's a good sign.

McBryde is only five steals away from a tie for 10th with Craig Shotten (1991) and Tommy Murphy (2000) on the single-season stolen base list. But he could easily get into the 30's this season, which would put him in the top 5.

Well, Cooney's Diamond Diary explains why FAU used so many reserve players against Harvard. I was wondering why so many regulars weren't even dressed.
