That's great… normally we make our climb in the polls during the A-Sun schedule. Who knows, maybe we could host some national post-season baseball. 8-) ;D

We will never host a post-season series in our stadium….too small. Maybe at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, which is next to our Jupiter campus up there. We've discussed this between our fan group and think it's a 'swell' idea.

I think we need to host a regional and Roger Dean Stadium is a terrific idea Ghostof. Is this something FAU has or will consider in the near future.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news-but Roger Dean stadium is NOT an option. The Jupiter Hammerheads play at home the weekend of 6/4 and they have first rights to the stadium. FT. Lauderdale is a possiblity but to be honest we wont be hosting a regional in all likelyhood because of the high financial guarantee needed by the NCAA and the fact they dont usually like putting two regionals so close together geographically(UM is a cinch to host). Hope Im wrong though it would be nice to host one.

Jupiter is out of the question because not only do the Hammerheads play there, but the Palm Beach Cardinals as well. There is a Class A game at Roger Dean ever day from April to September.

What FAU needs to do is sink some money into the baseball stadium which, up until this fall, was the most nationally recognized athletic program on campus. Expand the gandstand to beyond the dugouts, upgrade the scoreboard and put in a proper outfield wall… Just for God's sake, leave the berms alone.

Miami and Mark Light will undoubtedly get a regional AGAIN this year. For some reason, the NCAA loves to kiss the Hurricanes' ass. Can't wait till next year when the Canes have to actually play a conference schedule and leave the Light more than six tiems a season.
