Was that Cohen as announcer? I thought I heard his name. He did sound rough. Without a color man, the broadcast lacked alot.

No, that wasn't Cohen. The past two games some other guy was doing the broadcast. They said Cohen was back in Boca during the road trip. I don't know the guy's name who did the game last night, but he was terrible. Like I said, i'm not trying to be mean about it, but please get someone who knows what they are doing if Cohen isn't available. Cohen may not be the best broadcaster out there, but at least he tells you what is going on and is passionate about the team. The game last night was very hard to follow.

ESPN will be at "The Burrow" filming this Sunday and Tuesday, filming more material for the "Season". I encourage everyone to come out!
And I personally don't think Doherty has a temper, he has passion, something this team has lacked over the past few years.

At the front desk in IRT there are flyers posted that say a pep rally (I forget the date) is going to be held I think at Wackadoos. And Doherty, cheerleaders, ect (minus the band)(I'm not sure why we weren't asked) and the ESPN crew is going to be there. They are wanting all the students to come out and show support. Should be interesting.

I was at the Gardner-Webb game on Sunday. The biggest thing that I noticed about Doherty was that he was very active from the sideline on defense, especially when the defense was playing on his side of the court. He got mad as hell one time when someone didn't take a shot that he thought he should have taken. Surprisingly angry (they were up by 20). His temper is still there; it's a question of whether he has learned to control it. After reading about the Campbell game it sounds like he still has some work to do in that area.

why are you guys bitching about doherty getting fired up? Who the hell cares. Let this guy do his job. I don't care if he's throwing chairs across the court just as long as he's; winning games, recruits, crowded stands, espn documentary's, leading the A-Sun, increasing donations, pushing for the dome.

Maybe we should get Sidney back so he can fill out ball boy applications on the sidelines during games so everyone on this message board can calm down and not worry about a coach who really cares about winning and bringing this school to the next level.

I agree Exit, I like Doherty's firey temper. It's about time we have someone who cares that much. I watched a lot of games under Sydney Green and not only did he look disinterested, they also lost….a lot. Keep up whatever you are doing Doherty.

It's not as if he's throwing chairs at people. I didn't see it, but from what I read he kicked a chair. I'm not particularly concerned about it. I'm just saying I like the emotion.
