i'm back home… we had the double play… what happened??

Tough loss for Salberg, he threw three goundballs in the inning that sould have been outs.

I don't think the Toppers got a hit in the ninth.

bomback had quite an evening (sarcastic)… am i wrong? i didn't listen/watch the whole game on gametracker, but from what i can understand skimming this boxscore, he had a pretty bad night

that's awful… this is not how to play when we are missing our ace, much less ANY time of the season

Cancel that....Crandall struck out swinging. Game over. Lose 3-2 after being up 2-0 heading to the seventh. Crappy evening.

I still can't believe we gagged that one away in the ninth…Here are some telling stats after a third of the season:

We've hit 32 home runs, which puts us on pace to hit 96…
But we've made 36 errors, that's 2 per game, on pace for 108!

We're averaging 11 runs a game, but allowing almost 6.And we've also allowed 30 unearned runs.

We've also stranded 151 runners on base in 150 innings.

Bottom line, as good as our offense has been, we can be better. And on the other side, our pitching and defense MUST get better. We aren't going to win a regional, let alone our conference tournament giving runs away.

i'm guessing that Kloess is taking the mound sunday's game…
