6 FAU pitchers combined to give up 10 runs, along with 3 defensive mistakes aiding the Gators to the win.
Devon Carr (0-1) is tagged with the loss, as he gave up 2 unearned runs in the 8th that gave UF a lead they would not relinquish.
Owls only fall for the 2nd time this season, with this loss marking the first time that they have scored more than 5 runs in a game and lost.
Once again, Ricky Santiago lead the Owls offensively, going 3-6 with 3 RBI and scoring a run of his own. The other Owls runs came off the bat of Kerr, Puerta, and Dicks (2).
With his lone hit, Kevin Abraham finally took some weight off his back after not getting a hit in his first 18 ABs.
