Could be & Everist had not seen much action since last week.  Everist is the type of pitcher that seems to pitch his best with out much rest.

The 'Canes are killing the Owls pitching staff & have now hit their 3rd homer of the evening - extend their lead by six runs.

Jason Boyer in to pitch for Adams…and has since given-up, two singles, HB & a walk.  UM have the bases loaded with two outs in the 6th  :'(

The Owls respond in the 7th with a nice rally, helped by two errors by UM - cut into the lead with two runs with 1 outs & 2 base runners for the Owls.
