No such luck…..another game, another loss. It was 3-2 until Pepe came in and gave up two in the bottom of the eighth. Talk about a rally-killing half inning.

At least we didn't make an error!

so early in the season… it's such a shame this season is looking very bleak

i'm very afraid of implosion and the attitude of "nothing left to play for" overtaking the team SO EARLY in the season

Fortunately the Sun Belt takes the top 8 rather than the top 6 for their conference tournament and once your in there everyone has an equal shot. As bad as things have been keep in mind weve been getting smacked around by the leagues two best teams, its not like were losing to bad teams. The schedule will get easier and we will get healthier. We are still 18-9 on the year. If we can end the season at 40-16 weve got a strong shot at an at large birth. I realize that would require us going 22-7 the rest of the way but I think its possible with the talent we have and the remaining schedule.
