You'll find that most parks in the big baseball conferences like the SEC, ACC and Big Ten look like minor-league stadiums. But they also draw 5,000+ to every game. FAU barely gets a couple hundred to each home game.

President of the No Homers Club. Keepin' it real since 2001.

Perhaps if they started calling some of the games "Earlybird Specials" they could get some more locals interested. :)

Hey bighooter,

The park you saw on the tube is the Hoover-Met, not ours. We didn't play Ole Missy in Starkville this year. One thing that is unique about our park is where that pic is taken from. It is our "Left Field Lounge" that has all kinds of homemade bleachers/seats. These things have mounted grills and coolers, locked areas for food/beer storage. They are also put on top of trailers, buses, or old vans. We have a habit of being very hospitable to opposing players by feeding the team and staff out there prior to the game or afterward if it is a tourney. Lots of fun. Should we ever get you guys up there you really must make the trip.
