Coming up through the Lakewood Ranch Little League program, Seth McGarry had one dream in mind.

Someday he hoped to sign with a major college baseball program.

“All the hard work has paid off and I hope to keep it going,” McGarry said. “Today means a lot of stress is gone. Now I can go out and have fun and not worry about trying to impress people. FAU sees me more as a pitcher, but said I could still find a spot as a second baseman or outfielder.”
