It might do well to listen to the internet radio while you watch the game. Its probaly too late for this game but you can do this in future games.
on the bottom of the home page, click on "Sun Belt Team's Board" . Look for the WLVJ-AM link

Crowd was the best I've seen at a BB game, quick guess– 2K+ and they really got into the game. Sounded like a real college game. That gym can actually get pretty loud with a few people.
Tough loss but tied with Lipscomb for 1st (Kennesaw doesn't qualify). If we can keep that type of crowd for the rest of the home games they should be fine.
GO OWLS!

Better to get this out of the way before entering into the Belt.

The Owls allowed too many offensive rebounds, could not hit the threes tried, and could not take advantage of many comeback possibilities.
They stopped trying threes inthe second half, when that was pretty much the only thing that would keep them in the game.
Someone explain to me why Doherty kept telling his players not to foul very late in the game, when that was probably the only way (albeit improbable) that FAU could come back. (The Owls got within 10 points a couple of times late, and perhaps once even within 8 points.) Even with 1:30 to play, :33 to play, he was yelling for them not to foul.
The crowd was the largest and looudest I have ever witnessed at an FAU game, making the atmosphere excellent. Two sections of students (at least one on each side) got a lot of cheers going and played off each other - and not just the "defense, defense!" cheers. They - along with the band which always cheers - rattled Liscomb a bit and it got very loud at times.
I'd say 2,000 would be a good crowd estimate. Parking was almost scarce.
I didn't see Frank Brogan but was told he spends most of his time upstairs lately. I wanted to ask him why he hasn't responded to my letter about the band director.

I can't tell you how great it was to be in the gym tonight, except for the UM game two years ago, I haven't seen this many people at an FAU game and it was loud. The crowd was in it and if Quinton Young had hit that three he shot after the steal when we were down 12 with 3 or 4 minutes left in the game the roof would have blown off! We were set to make a run right then. We'll see 'em again this weekend!
