although technically that boosts attendance… maybe that's something we're not looking at…
I mean, I agree with everyone here that band/dance at the baseball game is out of place but if it draws in a couple more people who otherwise would have not attended the game, I think it's okay.
It's definitely a hard sell to get people to come to FAU baseball games, even with our good team. I think we should market this as FAU versus one of the top teams in the country… "Come See The Upset!" I think people would come for that.

I see your point and if it was a conference game or some meaningless game on a weekday then yeah I'm sure we can find a place for them but on a weekend series against a top 5 team in the nation the stadium is going to be packed. For weekend games the bleachers are always full and there's always a good attendance on the Berm's but opening weekend and against UNC attendance won't be a problem.

go back and look at the attendance figures for years 1996 - 2000…
i wont spoil it for you…
again, it's al about grass roots…NOTHING is being done…
