I did get a chance to see some A-Sun teams play, and guys, I hate to tell you this, but beyond FAU, the rest of that league is awful in women's hoops.

I was impressed by alot of your athletes like Shontavia Williams who is quick to the basket and very good from 3-point range, but Garner-Webb looked slow. They looked sloppy. Belmont and Lipscomb are just as bad and so is North Florida and Kennesaw State.

You guys are very fortunate to be leaving that league and coming to the Sun Belt. The SBC will be much tougher without question and your initial expectations may not be met, but in time, you'll see progress that will make you go "wow".

Progress in everything but national respect for the SunBelt.

The new conference deserves mch more than the A-SUN, but gets very little more.

Two mens and two womens teams should have been in the dance this year.

Not only that, I felt that Arkansas State and North Texas deserved WNIT bids. By the way, did you see FIU's overtime win over Big East member, Cincinnati in the first round of the WNIT?

That Lasma Jekobsone gal is one talented athlete. FIU is darn good. They trounced us in our last game of the season.
