The Blue Raiders keep adding runs - four consecutive hit's in the 7th make it 11-2 MTSU.

Top seed MTSU cruise past the Owls 12-2 in the first round of the SBC Tournament
The Owls struggled on the mound early, in the first round of the Sun Belt Conference 2009 post season tournament, allowing the Blue Raiders of Middle Tennessee State to cash-in on three first inning walks and an error for four runs as they cruised to a 12-2 victory.
The Blue Raiders batted around in the first and never looking back or allowing the Owls to do much offensively and ending any chances of a comeback in the seventh, when the game was called due to the Sun-Belt conference 10-run mercy rule.
Barry Brook day ended early, pitching only 3-2/3 inning, yet throwing 114 pitches and walking seven batters in his post season effort.
The Blue Raiders starter, Kenneth Roberts pitched all seven inning and was able to keep the Owls hitter at bay for most of the day, never allowing the Owls to gain any momentum. The Owls Travis Ozga did manage to dig a solo shot in the fourth while Mike Albaladejo had a solid performance going 3-4 with an RBI.
Up Next for the Owls
The Owls will be facing Florida International on Thursday morning at 10:00am ET, who where beat 11-3 by Louisiana-Lafayette early in the day.
Check back during today's game for live updates & game day coverage..

Even though we are going no where in this tourney it would be some consolation to be the ones to knock out the kitties.
We just don't have the pitching to go deep into this tournament, it's been our Achilles heel all season, but like you said, always nice to beat the Kitties.

The lineup to begin the series against the Green Wave!
Can't recall exactly, but close…
did we have these many commits at this time last year?
We have others who are silent on offense, two at least.
I see our plan is to run an entire football team with only LBs
