"Another series to watch is in Mobile where Sun Belt leaders South Alabama and Florida Atlantic tussle. USA has been the Jags-of-all-trades this year. They do everything well but aren't overwhelming in any one area. Their rotation has been strong and they have had a knack for comeback victories. FAU has the rotation to match and perhaps even exceed thanks to Saturday starter Mike Gipson. He might be the SBC Pitcher of the Year. FAU coach John McCormack - sort of like USA coach Steve Kittrell - rebuilt his club this year after a disappointing 2009. Those newcomers took some lumps early and have come on strong in conference play. FAU is ahead of USA in the Regional pecking order. The Jags could really help their at large stock with two wins this weekend."
