USA: Projected starter - RHP Garrett Harris ( 5-3, 4.66 ERA)
The Series: The Owls holds a 7-4 series lead over the Jaguars and hold a 3-2 advantage at Stanky Field. FAU won the only series they played at Stanky Field back in 2008 and will look to walk away with another series win and reclaim first place in the conference race today. First pitch of the rubber match set for 2:00pm.

- [li]The Jags starter Lance Baxter did a very good job of keeping the game under control, allowed 5 runs on 7 hits in seven inning of work. Baxter managed 3 strike outs and issued one walk.[/li]
[li]Adam Heisler (.337) extended his on-base streak to 28 games and extended his hit streak to 10 games … Heisler has now hit safely in 20 of his last 21 games.[/li]
[li]Bret Tanner went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and a run scored to lead the Jaguars at the plate. Tanner now has reached base safely in 31 of his last 32 games.[/li]
[li]The Jaguars have an impressive eight players hitting above .300 and are hitting .322 as a team with opponents are hitting .317.[/li]
[li]Jaguar Carlton Paris pitched two shutout innings in relief, allowing just one hit while striking out one.[/li]

Inside the Owls Dugout
- [li]Owls starter Mike Gipson struggled at times in his 8 innings of work, issued 6 walks (a season high) while striking out 7. Gipson allowed 5 runs on 9 hits.[/li]
[li]Ryan Bernal who has been pitching well in relief, loaded the bases in the 9th and issued a walk-off balk to score the winning run for the Jags.[/li]
[li]Nick DelGudice(.335) went 2-for-3 with one RBI, a Sac. Fly that tied the game a 4 in the 8th. The Owls would take a short lived lead on a Sean Bukovich RBI double.[/li]
[li]The Owls have 5 players hitting above .300 and are hitting .309 as a team while holding opponents to a .275 average.[/li]
[li]FAU stranded 8 bases runners while USA left 11 on the base path.[/li]
[li]The Owls have won eight-of nine conference series this season, the sole lose was a series sweep by Middle Tennessee. And are now 7-3 in their last ten game.[/li]
