Should be a tough weekend for the guys.  ULL is always strong plus they are coming into the series off a win over top ranked LSU.  We really need to win this series to get the conf season rolling. Its gonna be tough if we start off losing our first two conf series.

We need to Hope for an emotional let down on ULL's behalf, and that we are injury free…this will be a test for our pitching staff - period.

Tonight's game versus ULL has been postponed due to rain.  The game will be played tommorow in the first of a double-header beginning at 3 p.m

Game 1 now in its 2nd rain delay. Bottom of the 9th, 5-2 FAU winning.

Hopefully it wont last too long…….

Sounds like the baseball announcer forgot to mute his mic…who is calling the game for FAU?

Ok…the latest in the ULL series "saga":

Got to love rain and baseball…the two do not mix.

And just when it looked like we would make a statement to those doubting that we would perform against the top Belt talent after faltering against the basement in UALR…anyway:

Game 1 of the series (delayed from original game day of Friday to that of Saturday) has been delayed again due to rain, and will conclude tommorow morning at 10:00AM EST…dare we say "rain permitting"?

FAU leads 5-3…bottom of the ninth…….

As far as the rest of the series:

Game Two: 11:00AM EST Sunday
Game Three: CANCELLED


If you ask me, it aint looking good…….

Stop the presses we have some action...FAU pulled out an exciting FINISH to win game one 6-5!

Owls are in the drivers seat currently in game two…can't believe they got 6 full innings in on it already?!

FAU currently leads 6-3 in the bottom of the seventh…but ULL has two on with no out…uh-oh…

To come out of Lafayette with a two spot would be very nice…

Owls crank out a good top of the 8th…picked up two more runs…
