Owls 9 Blue Raiders 1
Looking good!
Game two up tomorrow at 4:00 PM with Gipson on the mound…
"It's squarely take the pressure off of us, but as I told the guys earlier this is a good ball club", said McCormack. "We can't think this thing is licked by any stretch of the imagination."

Quote of the Day: From Coach John McCormack
"Ryan was outstanding tonight, he tweaked his pregame routine and it really paid off for him and us."
"Colby has been working hard in the cage all week, he took extra BP on Tuesday and Thursday and it showed tonight."

Quote of the Day: From Blue Raider Coach Steve Peterson
"Their starting pitcher, Garton, he really dominated us especially in clutch situations. He really dominated our guys who have been swinging it really good. He threw the breaking ball behind the count, ahead of the count and had good pop on his fastball. We just didn't match-up on the mound. When it got 5-1 you could see we were running out of time to scratch and get runs. In the middle innings he threw really, really well."
