Nice that they have fight and make comebacks, but if they keep playing this way when the conference schedule starts they won't be making these incredible comebacks.  They look like they need a lot of work to clean up the mistakes.  5 errors?  Unacceptable.

It's not that way every night.  Besides, the 4 runs that North Florida scored in the top of the 4th were ridiculous.  Lots of dinky hits, and then there was a double-play ball that hit the second base bag.  It was just unfortunate.

I don't claim to be an expert…I'm just curious. Why is Rice who is currently 8-6 ranked 15 on ESPN's top 25 coaches poll, when FAU who is 10-2 (including a loss to #2 Florida) not ranked at all on this poll.  

Give it time.  The trend needs to continue.  Baseball rankings are so much different than football.  While one football game can have a dramatic impact, baseball needs to see more consistency.  FAU Baseball has found its way into the rankings on three polls already. (NCBWA, D1Baseball.com Top 25, Perfect Game).  They are receiving votes in the Coaches' poll.  Hopefully, they will continue to perform and show up there soon.  Also, be on the lookout for Baseball America and Collegiate Baseball polls.  Here is a link to five of these polls.
