Inside the Cajun's Dugout
It will be a special weekend for Louisiana as they celebrate their 1,000th game at "The Tigue" on Friday.

Louisiana are still looking for their first series victory in Sun Belt play, when they host FAU this weekend.

The Cajun's Friday Starter Zach Osborne ranks second in the Sun Belt with an ERA of (1.80) and strikeouts (40).  Osborne has issued only six walks over 35 innings and has held opponents to a .228 average.

Cajun's Chad Keefer  has hit safely in each of his last 13 games - the longest hitting streak of his career. He's hitting .360 (18-of-50) during the streak with four doubles a home run and seven RBI. In Sun Belt play the opposition has yet to steal a base off of Keefer, who leads the Belt with 12 runners caught stealing.

Inside the Owls Dugout
FAU won both games against Louisiana last season at Tigue Moore Field. one of the games was canceled due to rain.

Andy Mee hit for the cycle during Tuesday night's game, which also marks the most hits recorded in a game by an Owl player this season. Mee went 5-for-5 on Tuesday with three RBI in the 10-5 victory over Cornell. Mee leads the team with a .409 average and 36 hits.

Colby Gratton three stolen bases in the Owls 3-2 victory over Cornell on Wednesday, tied an FAU single-game record.

Mike Albaladejo hit his first career home run on Wednesday in the 3-2 victory over Cornell.  The catcher’s three-run shot in the second inning proved to be the difference in that game. Albladejo has appeared in 53 career games.

Quote of the Day: Coach John McCormack
"It's not that it's Friday, it's that the other pitcher is really good…It's one of those things you go out and play hard and you know it's going to be a grid…You continue to grid."
