For those of us who don't really care to follow basketball, finally some baseball talk.

Baseball Signs Seven New Recruits

im a little confused by this statement:

"Michael Albaladejo, C, West Orange High School, Winter Garden, FL, 5-7, 169
Albaladejo was named first team all-county and first team all-metro his junior seasons. He was also named second team all-Central Florida and was his team's MVP last season.

McCormack on Albaladejo: "Mike Albaladejo is a force behind the plate. I have not seen many young men be able to run a team as he does. Mike will make our team better by his leadership and passion. I am excited to see Mike play."

the guy is 5-7, 169 lbs…isnt that small for a catcher - actually very small??

Justin Martin is 5-9, 185… so a little smaller than him.  Maybe Cooney has plans to move him from catcher since I am sure his speed could be used elsewhere.  Wasn't Gabe Somarriba around that height?

believe me, whatever he lacks in height, he makes up for in muscle mass, lol
