…PRAY that the NCAA doesnt screw us over. Stteson beat FAU in the title game for the automatic bid and we must wait until Monday to see if were in or not. It will be real interesting to see if the ASUN gets 2 or 3 teams in. FAU came in 2nd in the regular season and the conference tourney and has the highest RPI, but Troy won the regular season title, and UCF has the most wins of any ASUN team. Its going to be a long painful wait until Monday to see who's in and who's out. I just want to be in-I dont care if its another trip to Coral Gables-anything will be fine but the season being over!

I don't think the NCAA would be screwing us over if we didn't get in, but I think we'll get in regardless of how we've played this season.

Just look at the Pseudo-RPI ratings as found on www.boydsworld.com. We're ranked higher than UCF and Troy and the average RPI of our non-conference opponents are as follows:

FAU 83.7
Troy 121.2
UCF 155.9

I'm pretty sure the NCAA takes a damn good look at the RPI ratings as they're there for a reason, not just for show. Take a look at Troy softball for example….they won the A-Sun regular season title and finished 47-21, but lost in the final of the A-Sun tourney. They didn't make the tourney because they played NOBODY. Bethune-Cookman got the at-large bid instead and got to Super Regionals!!!

I'm pretty sure we will get in, but with three teams in the running for two, maybe one, spot…..nothing would shock me tomorrow.
