Owl radio is busted.......

FAU win first game. 6-5

Great win tonight!  We beat Troy and the umpires.  The Umps gave Troy three runs on two atrocius calls.  But to the credit of our team they didnt get down after those shameful calls(especially the one when they called Georgia Tech's 5th run safe at home when he was out by a mile) and fought back to win anyways.  Nick Arata hit the winning homerun in the bottom of the 9th to save the day.  Ive never seen so many fans follow the Umps out of the stadium to berate them after a game, especially when we won-thats how bad the umpiring was.  Mickey Storey looked better tonight and pitched well enough to win but got a no decision so he'll have to wait for a third win till next start.  Great win and great crowd electricity tonight-the fans really made themselves a factor tonight.  Now lets keep it going and beat them again tomorrow! Go Owls!

BLUE WAS BAD LAST NIGHT….

Not a good way to finish what was a very good game - the 8th just was not a good inning for the Owls, two early errors that lead to two runs was the start of a dreadful inning, blowing the game wide open for the Trojans, scoring 5 run in the 8th breaking a 2-2 tie at the time.

Today's game is becomes an important one & looks like the Trojans will keep the 2nd spot in the standings.

The bats finally showed up for FAU. 14-5 in the bottom of the 6th. Criaris just hit a 3 run homer. Unless something goes seriously wrong, FAU should have this game. That gives us the series.
