The Owls loaded the bases in the second to no avail.

The Hilltoppers did the same in the 3rd.

The score remains scoreless after 3 innings of play.

Gratton started thing off in the 4th with a double, later scoring on a Bubley single up the middle.

The Owls take an early 1-0 lead, on 7 hits.

The Owl are still holding to a 1-0 lead after six inning of play.

Anthony Mesa gets things going for the Owls in the 7th with a single to right field, advances to second on a David Wislon bunt.

Will Block draws a walk, to put runners at 1st & 2nd - with 1 out.

Tom Hatcher hits a 2 out double to left field scoring both Block & Mesa to extend the Owls lead.

It's now 3-0 FAU  :D

The starting pitcher for the Hilltoppers, Matt Ridings, has kept the Owls at bay for most of the day, Western Kentucky lead the Owls 4-0 into the sixth, where the Owls where able to push one run across to end the scoreless strugles of the Owls.

In the 7th the Owls did manage a nice little rallyto push two more runs across to cut into the Hilltoppers lead.

WKU 4 runs on 3hits 1 error
