It's time to start keeping the talent close to home but then again, with a crappy weight room, student union and a breezeway that leaks, it's hard for a kid to choose us over a school like Marshall. I hope those renovations to the Breezeway and Student Union come quick because it makes our campus that much more attractive..

Agreed on the first two but I doubt a leaky Breezeway is a dealbreaker for someone who wants to come here  ;D
It does need to be addressed though as a matter of student safety.

No problem.

So we have a football recruiting guy (andrew), a basketball recruiting guy (Rick), an admissions guy (FAUfosho), a development guy (me), now we just need someone to be "the Greek Life guy" and someone else to be "the Student Government guy" and we're all set.

I think FAU knew they didn't have much of a chance with Benjamin and moved on. Already have 3 linebackers committed.

Marshall just signed a juco , 4 star WR, that was from PBG. He committed to Miami but had grade issues. The article stated that Marshall has a "special" program geared to get GPA's up to the good range. If this is true, no wonder so many kids go there.

Weird, almost like a JUCO? I'd like to read more about that. Maybe HerdZone can elaborate.

It was in an article by the PBpost about Angeo Jean-Louis. Marshall call it the "prop program" to help student athletes become fully qualified academically. Go to PBPost sports and search the student name and it should come up. The article was about three days ago.
