FIU got a commit from the big (320 or so!) OL from Camden County, Ga. 2 star Rivals, 3 star 24/7. But we did get the commit from the big boy from Taravella! Basically even but would have been nice to get both. bet the Coaches are still talking with the Ga kid though!

Not according to what Coach P said at the basketball game tonight…"There is no need to recruit north of the border"….and I agree.

He did mention something about possibly getting linemen from out of state in one of his interviews but his connections (and thus his focus) are here in Florida.

Well he told a nice crowd at the basketball game no need to recruit north of the border…so he must have changed his mind.

I'd imagine he will get rid of some of the current players that he inherited to sign 7 or 8 more of his own players

Probably will be a combination of this, grayshirting some current commits and pulling some offers.  It happens, nature of balancing the books.

Hopefully just pulling some offers from ones not verbally committed....really hurts when a kid has committed and it gets pulled..

And if we win, nobody will care down the road. I just read where the kid with a verbal to W. Michigan had his offer pulled which "offended" (site word police forced me to not use the Pi…. word) off the HS  coach of course. Will post link later, gotta go play tennis in 28 degree weather now!
