The guys seems like he does intend to stay here awhile, sounds good to me. Can't wait for the new incoming class to get on campus and get to work learning the Baylor O!

This means nothing and it's only for press. I have been following our recruiting hard over the last couple months and I really am wondering how we are going about it.

FAU has offered almost everyone and anyone, one player we offerd actually tweeted that ''FAU was going to offer his grandma soon". FAU has offered guys who are committed  Auburn and guys that as one FCS coach told someone ''They are offering guys we wouldn't even take".

I know it's early but we only have 2 2018 commits and they are form the last staff. Are we really trying to get commits or we spit balling and seeing what sticks?

OC40, agree or disagree, you always have a valuable opinion. Don't respond to haters. I love the recruiting process. I think it is far too early to start worrying. My Canes friends are soooo happy right now. I keep telling them to stop watching , check it again in December. The list will be unrecognizable. My prediction for next years class, loads of JUCOs. Just my guess. No facts.

It will be interesting to see what happens with JUCOs. Lane has said the JUCOs were just because he came in late making it a necessity, but that the direction of the program is to build with HS athletes. We shall see.

Only if they are a minimum 3* to me. As I have posted, unfortunately, all we and FIU get are few who do want to stay close to home and the rest the bottom of the recruiting barrel. And that has shown on the field for YEARS NOW! Don't get me wrong, we get good young men but many not really or ever FBS level. We do know our Coaching was FCS level for a long time now!!!

HS kids would rather do to WKU, Marshall or Toledo than stay by "mom & dad" or to get away from their neighborhoods and bad influences, let alone Power 5 opportunities!I pray the JUCOS our Coaches convinced to come here have gotten now young men looking for and greatful for 2nd chances and want to prove themselves with great coaching!

They have a ton of talent and no less than 6 minimum were 4* out of HS. None have injury issues I am aware of so get the grades and play ball young men!
