DE Haiden Nagel to walk-on at FAU
Nagel, who held offers UMass and UAB according to Rivals.com, was visiting campus on Saturday when he decided to make things official.
The 6’3” 240-pound lineman told new FAU DL coach Matt Edwards that he wanted to be part of the program.
"Campus is like a resort. The stadium is unbelievable. The beach is a mile away, what else I can say, it's paradise. I’m excited to be an Owl,” Nagel said.
Nagel will arrive on campus this summer, and participate in team activities. He recorded 95 tackles and three sacks his senior season while racking up a contingent of FCS offers.
"I committed as a preferred defensive end, with a high potential to earn a scholarship which will drive me," Nagel said.
