So since stars seems to be such a hot topic on this forum, let me add fuel to the fire by saying as 1:35pm on January 10th, Glanton, who has offers from UM and Nebraska to name a few, currently has no stars

yeah? I didn't know they didn't rate transfers. Mustafa Johnson - 2 Stars, Jeremy McKnight - 2 stars both are Juco transfers

All of them had 0 stars until they signed thier LOI. Then once they were "official" they got 2 stars. No idea why the other kid hasnt been given stars yet. I think every player that has no stars gets 2 once they sign.

Rivals and the like don't seek out and rate all JUCO players like they do high school players. High school is their focus. With that said FAU HAS NEVER had a recruit that had offers from the schools that offered Glanton - EVER.  Easily the equivalent to a 3 and possibly even a 4 star caliber player considering the programs that gave him offers.

And to clarify the above post every D1 player that signs a LOI per Rivals will automatically get assigned 2 stars, even if they were off the radar prior to signing. That is not necessarily the case with Scout.

Oh ok, thanks for clarifying. I was wondering why this kid was no stars with all of the offer he received but it makes sense now.

Man I cannot wait until signing day and we see what is appearing to be our best recruiting class ever finalized! Very exciting times are ahead for FAU.

With $70 million dollars invested, it better be the best recruiting class we have ever had.
