Dwyer RB Alonzo Smith says he's also left campus without giving a commitment. He plans to get back to me sometime soon.

Agree, we just need to remember that the kids Partraidge and staff are signing now wont be major contributors for a few years…they will need time to develop.

Unacceptable. I expect all 25 FAU freshman recruits to win the Heisman at once next year.

The walk on players also have to be Heisman contenders by AT LEAST midseason

It's Sunday and we usually see a tweet about a commit. I want to see one from R. Pierce.

I'm with you on that.

Most of the recent commits have other FBS offers, but why do they have no rating?

If I were a recruit ,and was doing my home work, and know what is going on with FAU's recruiting season, and you get an offer and leave without committing, that is not a good sign. (run on sentence -5). I hope Coach has some pull with Pierce. Mississippi State is a very pretty place and a kid from Plantation may like the different atmosphere that they present. Also, if we wanted another tall, lanky WR why did we not get Adly Enoice from Delray. That would have maybe mended a very bad relationship.

I know it sounds obvious, but I hear all these people "cant wait till this fall" talk…Im just reminding everybody that CP will be coaching and playing the 2014 season with the previous staffs players.  We will not see the "fruits" of this and future recruiting classes for a few years.  Dont expect a Boise State/TCU season next year.

Who knows why the commitment didn't happen, maybe there are issues the kid is facing getting into FAU academically and CP needs to sit with him tomorrow to go over…

The Atlantic high school coach whos player got burned by Pelini is not at Atlantic anymore and Pelini is gone
so perhaps we can make a fresh start.

Adly has committed to our friends to the south. And yes, Pelini is gone and Bean is gone, but the AD is still there and the memory of what happened to Chad Ward is still fresh in the minds of the local parents that have kids that play. Both at Atlantic and Village Academy.
