Yep. That was my first though too. That's a big part in hiring these kind of guys.owlmart said
I think with an AD from OSU and President from Clemson they will look to improve athletic facilities which could go a long way in the recruiting battle.
Oh yeah, it's a huge part of it.owlmart said
What I would like to see is an improved Academic Center and renovated training facility the Ox needs some (a lot) of work. I think both things will go a long way in recruiting battles.
We hired a coach who hired other coaches that gave us this instant uptick in recruiting prowess. And that was a smart move on Chun's part, I see that now.
However, without athletics upgrades we will eventually hit a bottleneck whereby his staff can get top-rated players to visit based on rapport and reputation but then they'll get here and see the Oxley and inevitably compare it to the palatial digs of the BCS conferences.
Relationships matter - between the player and his coaches and the player and his family - but you're also talking about high school seniors who are tweeting pictures of electronics, uniforms, shoes and of course football facilities. Feeling like you "made it" after all the hard work you put in throughout high school. So it's definitely important.

I hope we have enough spots for all the commits in the end. Wouldn't want to pull any offers. But I know it could happen.

I have the same concern but I assume these coaches know what they're doing. Having everyone commit who visited is a good sign but it also helps that they visited so close to NSD.
Alin Eduoard's twitter indicates that he's very much enjoying himself at Syracuse so I'm going to let that one go.
