I think a lot of players feel like, because of our record these last two years, we're desperate and they're God's gift to football players, so FAU will wait for them because clearly they need them.

We're still a Division 1 football team with a lot to offer in a state with tons of D1 talent.

+1.  The things we have to offer are a lot greater than our repuation/prestige at this point.  I have a feeling in 3 years that will be a completely different story.

Moving up to CUSA can't hurt with any of our potential recruits! Maybe we can out recruit WKU and Troy in our own state now! ;)

Good for him! That was a wise choice to go play and learn from their new coach.

If we had a legitimate shot at a 4-star QB that landed and will probably start at a coveted BCS program, who ever is under center next year, whether that's Bracewell, Johnson, MGIII or Curtis better be the best thing since Rusty Smith

I would have to agree.

You have to think that they have an ace up their sleeve right? Or hope anyway!

If I were to guess, the plan is to have a juco QB (or one of the current  QB's) play next year or two and they are trying to land a H.S. QB. Maybe the one from Boyd or the one from Port St. Lucie. This seems to be the logical path. One way or another , we have to land a H.S. QB to develop over the next 4-5 years. I really have my fingers crossed. The future success of FAU depends on having a quality QB.

Very true and while I am glad we made offers to highly sought hs qb's, I have to be the 1st to admit that when Kansas St. and Penn St. offer we have little chance then anyhow. Nice that we have progressed our recruitng to be going after better talant though! And that says something to all of our recruits we are going after and offering!
