Anyone know if there is a video floating around of the announcement of the new recruits? Normally fausports.com has one but it doesnt seem to be working.

Anyone have info on the new WR Jamal Davis that Ted reported has committed?

From what I gathered he was also considering Kansas State and Boston College had 53 catches for 682 yds (12.87 yd/catch) with 6 TD.  In a loss against Stoneman Douglas he had 9 catches for 215 yds…..not bad.  ESPN/Scout.com has him ranked as 40, which basically means they didn't take a look at him.

In the classroom he had a 4.3 GPA and a 1090 on his SAT

We were hyped up on Amos Wood too and he still got redshirted. Wood seems to be having a good spring practice though so we might see him sometime this fall.

Aren't the SAT's no longer out of 1600 anymore? (I thought it was something like 2400) so wouldn't getting a 1090 on your SATs not exactly be a great score?

I think since so many people are used to the 1600 system, they often write out scores in terms of 1600.

In the 2400 context it would be a 2435.

Even out of 1600 the score of 1090 is not that impressive, to be honest. 1000 is basically the cutoff, 1200 is average, 1400 is impressive.
