Lincoln OL Tarrick Thomas commits to FAU Football
It didn't take long for FAU's trip to Tallahassee to pay off. FAU filled a need Friday, when three-star offensive lineman Tarrick Thomas committed to FAU just hours after he attend the Owls' satellite camp at Lawton Chiles High School.
Thomas (pictured) is a another high profile recruit for Charlie Partridge and his staff - claiming offers from the likes of Alabama, Mississippi State and Georgia Tech. His father played at FSU and had a brief stint in the NFL.
Thomas, who projects as a tackle in college, said the Owls' coaching staff was the difference.
"The atmosphere around the place and the way coaches interact. They're building something down there," Thomas said in a message.
FAU assistant Chris Hurd will be credited with Thomas' recruitment, but it was staff effort on Friday to land the services of Thomas.
On another note, thank you for all you do Andrew.
THAT is what I want to see, support from his future teammmates of the Fab '15! Stick with FAU Jordan, be the BigFish in the "small pond" as they say!
Check 'em all out and have lots of fun but DON'T fall for all the lies and hype and false promises they will make, all the while remember how many THOUSANDS of great HS players have had their careers buried in the BigBoys depth chart or even scout teams forever.
Bottom line, stick with being the leader and the builder of something special, something the BigBoys are fearing will develop! We are very competitive now and getting better now, so just think what the Fab '15 and future classes of recruits will do at FAU, GO OWLS!
