He keeps getting all this attention by som of the BigBoys and he will be our first 4*, if we keep him here! Be the STUD Reakwon at FAU not just another recruit with the BigBoys!

I'm hearing there's a good chance of this kid flipping?

When kid's visit other programs Power 5 programs that sure can happen.

We just have to hope he is enjoying the attention and trips but stays close to home with us as a Big fish in the smaller pond and not just be another 3* recruit at a Power 5 schools (1 of 20 or 25!), and at a Power 5 bottom feeded that loses a lot to the true BigBoys.

We are going bowling next year, I doubt Cal is!

Recruits don't think like that.

How many 18 year old kids do you know that think "You know I think I should probably play it safe and play in C-USA that will give me a good chance to maybe have immediate playing time at FAU because thats about how good I am."

No. All these kids want to do is play on the biggest stage as soon as they can. No player thinks less of himself if Cal or Pitt are interested in him their first thought isn't "Better avoid those schools because I might not play until I'm 22" it gets them thinking that perhaps I could play in the PAC 12 or ACC and that gives me the chance to play for a larger bowl game and maybe a title.

Jones is nice kid I have talked to him a few times very polite and always takes the time to write me back. I think he likes FAU and a lot of the Fab15 kids. They all talk in a group chat and keep in touch quite a bit so I think he has already established some friendships with his future teammates so that helps us out a lot.

But he's getting love from quite a few teams now and of course he'll explore his options.

The team he committed to just went 3-9 and now if teams like Cal are knocking on his door it will be tough to keep his interest.

Cal is tied for the 11th most current NFL players with 39, and haven't ranked anything higher than 4th in their conference since 2006 you don't think they are throwing that around?

We not only really needed the bowl game but we couldn't really afford the terrible season.

Now that we dabble with larger recruits nothing but winning is going to keep them coming our way. The narrative of a new coach is over. He had his first season and it wasn't very good. I hope we can keep him he's a good ball player but its going to take some work now.

I love dropkicks and fat guy touchdowns.

Cal went 1-11 last year.  I hope they dont pick a program based on record.

We will fin out whether this is good or bad early in february. Can't blame a kid for being excited about getting an offer from cal. And it really speaks to the talent Charlie is bringing on board that this is happening to kids we have committed.

The reaction he got on twitter was resounding about the cal offer. Hopefully we can keep him locked down. Could be a really good linebacker for us.
