EBENSBURG — Eric Minemyer followed in the extra-large footsteps of his older brother, Jeff, by signing a letter of intent to play football at the NCAA Division I level.
The Bishop Carroll senior two-way end committed to play at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Fla., on Tuesday. The Owls compete in the Sun Belt Conference.
“That’s a rare thing to have two brothers sign Division I letters,” Eric Minemyer said during a ceremony at the school’s library. “I think we need to cherish that. That doesn’t happen every day.”

I thought the same thing but then remembered that no one was really interested in Rusty either.
