Yea they still have to qualify academically but now the carrot to them is real - FBS (D1!) football! Coach has to feel they will qualify or he would not even offer IMHO.

True. I understand his point about some players never seeing the field at FAU for various reasons but it would be nice to see him get excited about the standout recruits at least, the guys like German, who if they make it here, could really put this program back up there where it deserves to be.

Coach get as many Juco players as you can, continue to build something great @ FAU. One of our most productive players that ever played and graduated from FAU came from a Juco IE Lestar Jean. Keep them coming.

Plus I think you can redshirt them can't they?

What?? Lestar wasn't a JUCO transfer! He was a freshman in 2007 when he blew up in the NO Bowl, he's from Miami Norland High, we got him straight out of high school.
