According to rivals, FAU's signing class ranks 2nd in the Sunbelt.

Yeah but what about Conference USA? That's where the ranking should be.

I went with a "B+" only because I think we were close to getting a 4 star type player here.

Marshall got two. Both WRs.

No disrespect to Marshall but if they can do it, you would think FAU should be able to do it within the next 5 years as well.

I think if we have a good year next year, our next class should have a 4 star calibur player in it…

Re: Poll: Grade FAU's 2013 Signing Class

I gave us an A. This is the best crew of kids I think we've seen (stars aside) by looking at the schools that had interest in them leading up to NSD. Could we do better? Yes, of course, but this is the new high water mark, so if next year isn't as exciting, I'll give it an F. We should always be improving and we did that this year, mission accomplished.

But i think it is 10th with the top 6 teams not going to be there in a year. We were ahead of all the newcomers though, i think right behind UAB.

Best class in FAU history…on paper.  Based on the numbers and the needs met and the quality of guys signed = A.  Adding Juste was awesome!

Re: Poll: Grade FAU's 2013 Signing Class

I really do not know much about any of the players other than what other schools offered them and the numbers on each guy. I still feel pretty good about this class though. Needs were met with appears to be pretty good talent.

I give us a solid "B". I like the addition of JUCO players who can make an immediate impact. Nice additions to the O-line and D-line as well. Some good options at TE, WR, and RB also. Add the depth at DB and this looks to be a pretty solid group.

GO OWLS!!!
