UNT is simply not fast enough to warrant a zone, we need to stay in a man to man and stop things like what just happened:

A very slow TE getting open for 18 yards in a desperation attempt on 3rd and five.

No, we have a better chance of seeing Colton Kane tonight. He hasn't seen a snap all year and Kooi has seen a few. I don't understand how you have a qb competition entering fall camp and the losing player gets no snaps.

Well, we aren't able to move the ball very well on the ground up the middle…that's for sure.

Not sure why we keep trying…

Anyway, how about a toss sweep to the strong side on the next drive??

It was a QB competition in the pre-season, not the regular season. Bracewell (and Stephen Curtis) got snaps in the scrimmages.

Owls have only 29 total yards so far.

WIlbert is terrible and that last series play calling was scary.

3 Runs up the middle in a row?

Wilbert needs to be sat.
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick @$$ and I'm out of bubble gum.
