if our offense can't keep the defense off the field going to be a long night. I'm going to refrain from blaming it on the offensive play calling as i thoroughly believe coach has nothing to work with.

AS usual, this D has NO OUTSIDE CONTAIN and has not all year! Simple math, 4 man line with 2 lb shifted into the middle to compenate for no real MLB so if the DE's don't stay out in their lanes (with no help I might add as the DB's are usually chasing (I mean covering) the receivers) so when they pinch in (which they always do in wanting to get to the qb - watch 'em)…

The big gain doesn't lead to any points, as the offense stalls.

Screens are supposed to slow the defense down, but not its not working against ULM.
