We really lost the field position battle in the first half. They actually put together some decent drives but fell short after gaining 60 yards.

This was the hardest game to watch in a long time.

Of note in today's loss:

It was the worst home loss in the history of the program…previously that honor resided in the program's inaugural game against Slippery Rock; with FAU losing 40-7.

Pretty embarrassing performance.  The defense is getting shredded.  Hopefully coach plays the next-season's potential starters for the second half.

It would be a waste not to. The QBs in particular have gotten little to no game experience that I can remember and next year one of them has to start.

I watched this game until halftime, got depressed - 30 to 0, nobody in the stands, etc - and turned it off.

Wish the basketball game tonight was televised instead!

I too turned it off at the half.  Too many chores around the house to take care of and there was no way I could justify wasting another 90 minutes on that garbage.  After checking to box score, I am amazed that Kooi didn't throw a pass in this game.  Coach is a joke.  Can we honestly say he is continuing to move this program forward?  IMHO, the answer is an emphatic NO!  Thanks for everything you have done for us Coach S.  WIthout you FAU wouldn't have a football program.  But please for the love of God, step aside and let someone come in and resuscitate our football program.

The Connecticut Huskies football team is a collegiate football team that competes in NCAA Division I-A and the Big East Conference. Connecticut first fielded a team in 1896, and participated in Division I-AA until 1999. The Huskies began their two-year Division I-A transition period in 2000, and became a full-fledged Division I-A team in 2002. They began play in the Big East in 2004.

Playing for a BCS bid right now.

Nice to see so much game experience gained by our returning underclassmen.

I guess Coach wanted to give the final two quarters to JVC and Holley to pad their numbers for the upcoming NFL draft!

ZERO throws by ANY back-up qb when you are down 0-30 at half at home in what becomes a 4-8 season. Wonder why the O-line was so inexperienced this year, or the entire D last year? Look to the man at the top for your answers.

Sorry people, but I AM EXTREMELY PISSED to see this budding program run into the ground and RUINED in the past three years! From 7 to 6 to 5 and now 4 wins. Tjhisw as a PRIDE GAME for this team - HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What pride, we just suffered our worst home loss ever and stiil game no significant game time to the underclassmen who need any and all game experience they can get!

Four years ago, we were very proud to be the only Florida University with a bowl win. This year, we are the only Florida University sitting home without  bowl bid with a 4 win season - 3 of those by 1 point!

New stadium or not, maybe especially because of actually, the leadership of this program has to be held accountable for this disaster of a team. I strongly urge all concerned with the downward run of this team to contace school administration - both the athletic department and the University President's office to register your voice in the need for this program to reverse course now - whatever that means and whatever it takes!

Go Owls!!!
