Curtis doesn't look comfortable at all in the pocket.

+1

Not necessarily enthralled with the decision making ability at the signal caller spot. He's getting pressured, but still. Seems to be reacting too often, and just tucking and running.

No change over last year in that regard really.

At least no pic sixes yet! But where is the fast paced new O! Thgs is ploding, slow and boring. How abouut a throw donwfield, a crossing pass, a screen to the rb? So far EXTREMELY disappointed!

Well at the half….So far I couldn't be happier with this defense, you can really tell Pelini and Reskits have them fine tuned…..Now as far as the offense goes (lol)….. I can't recall seeing such a stagnant and stale series of possessions from an FAU offense.  I'm really wondering/worrying about Curtis's arm strength and on top of that he isn't going to last long against any opponent if he continues to QB draws up the middle for maybe 3 or 4 yards.  I really hope I'm wrong but we could be in for another LONG season….

Halftime stats (they are ugly):

Curtis 4-10  for 37 yards. 7 carries for 26 yards. (He leads the team in rushing)

Wagner has 100 yards of offense, with 50 coming on the ground and the other via the air.

FAU has managed just 86 yards of total offense.

DE Cory Henry has 5 tackles including a sack.

I think curtis has almost as many runs as passes (and we run a spread offense?)

Get Wilbert in for the 2nd half. All other things equal, he brings experience to the table. That is why I had him as my starter in my FEARLESS PREDICTIONS!!!

GO OWLS!!!

I think the only answer to the qb play is German, and he is standing on the sidelines in shorts.

This is painful to watch. We have a drive going on their side of the field with 2 time outs and we don't use them? Under 100 yards of offense against a ONE DOUBLE A TEAM!!!!

We got all these Juco transfers and yet they're all sitting on the sidelines.

I'm disgusted by this team. I'm not proud of anything or anyone on this pathetic excuse for a team. The pop Warner team at the half could probably beats us.

Our QB couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat nonetheless an open reciever and our punter is averaging prob 15 yards a punt. I'd rather take my chances and go for it on 4th down

My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!
