The problem is, Troy has had a short field all day & have had quick strikes.

Agree.  And that really sums up our year. Pathetic attempt.  I am ok with losses, but pathetic attempts are killing us.  This team offers no entertainment value whatsoever.

It IS a defensive issue.  That's what happens when the other team can score at will.  Same as UAB.  The reason this didn't happen during the games we won was never because we played good D, but because we have beaten 3 of the worst team's in America.

From the eternal optimist who is watching this game on for-pay ESPN GamePlan: The only good news I can think of is that I have tickets for Manheim Steamroller's performance in Denver tonight. Yet again, our game planning was ineffective. Yet again, we found no effective adjustments at halftime. Troy has scored at will. We cover receivers for this excellent Troy passer by staying 5-10 yards away. [Van Camp, giving an admirable and gritty performance, just scored on a gutsy run, making it 40-14. Good for him.] Can FAU hold Troy under 600 yards? It's just a shame that the good players have to endure this. [And have you looked at the opponents on next year's schedule? Yikes!]

10 penalties for 85 yards in a half is a serious issue too!

We all have to face it, Howard has lost the fire to Coach and our failure to upgrade our recruiting to 21st century standards is killing us as well, again under Howard's antiquated direction!

P.S. 40-7 now already, less than three minutes inot 2nd half. Ouch!!
