I base this data on Saturdays performance and the fact that we are 120 out of 120 in Run Defense.
FAU has NEVER been able to contain a running QB, and since thats what 90% of colleges run these days I doubt we ever will.
I for the LIFE of me cant understand why we cant do this, and havent been able to for 3 years now.
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick @$$ and I'm out of bubble gum.

All evidence points to being COMPLETELY unable to stop a running game.

My blood has finally stopped boiling after the NT loss, so I think I can talk about football calmly again. Your right, we have never been able to stop the run, and it looks like that will continue atleast through this season. But, there is a bright spot when it comes to playing USF.
WE HAVE TO PRESSURE DANIELS!. On the planned runs, we just have to hope for the best and limit his progress (Man he is fast though!) But, if we can break up a pass play and pressure him out of the pocket to where he has to scramble, we can do some serious damage to their offensive game. Once he is flushed out of the pocket, he panics and tries to be a hero for every play. He does not understand that sometimes its better just to throw away the ball. That is our chance. I was worried coming into this season if he had learned anything from last year or not, but as of right now, it appears he is making the same mistakes as last year. We can win this game through turnovers.

Ouch.
At least we go into this game expected to lose big…that's our best spot to be in, IMO. No expectations.
Besides, WKU put up 12 points on them and only lost by 12…….Wait, let's not go there! :D
