I think that is realistic. It may go higher. They have everything that we need.

They have looked very good, but …

I knew at least one of the really good RB's from last season had gone to the NFL, but couldn't remember which one for sure (especially since I had my wisdom teeth out Friday- these pain meds relieve me of my desire to research apparently haha).  So the national media saw that you discussed your strengths regarding a particular game last season and ridiculed you for it?  Just another way the media tries to make sure the rich get richer, so to speak, as they continue to send their messages to potential recruits.

It looks like the forecast for Saturday has cleared up for game time, for now.  Rain was predicted for the upcoming Saturday a couple days ago.  That's one area we got very lucky with for the Baylor game, the weather was pretty much perfect.

nah the ridicule came from one of our de's being pressured before the Alabama game to say what was something that FAU had over Alabama. He kept saying, they're a great football team and kept getting asked, "well, if you had to pick ONE thing you guys might have what would it be?" he finally said, well, we've got speed and if you have speed you can beat anybody and the national media ran with it and it became "FAU Player Says They'll Beat Bama with Speed!" It was a joke,.

We have a stable of running backs to draw from, and we run some wildcat with 2 or 3 of them in the backfield at times. Our O line still struggles so we're not running the ball the way we planned in August and we're not protecting the QB as well either.

QB HAS TO read the pressure and blitzes and go  to the man they leave open - and thow in a few quick deep routes, receivers don't have to be 50 yards downfield for that, just lead 'em and either it's a good reception and no chance of a pick.
For some reason we are not using our TE's or backs over the middle enough either (drag or delay routes). N. Texas played the safeties out wide leaving the middle open most of the game (except the pick in the endzone where they showed it open and rolled coverage to the middle just before the snap - Wilbert HAS TO read that and throw it away or underneath the coverage when they do that to him.

Very concerned about Browning…me thinks he is going to light us up on the ground when a play breaks down.

Dieter reports that Pelini holds the same sentiment…

"He's tough, he's hard nosed. He's a very good runner, and he's a good thrower," Pelini continued. "He knows when to do which. I think when you're running an offense like they are, a spread offense, there's a lot of guys who can do both, but there's not a lot of guys who know when to do which and always make the correct decision."

Carl Pelini concerned about Browning, ULM offense

Had a buddy who played for the Monroe Moccasins years ago and he told me all about Monroe, LA….so, no, definitely not going ;)

I'm staying in Boca for this beating!
