Best team in the country vs. the worst lol

Not blaming you for joking around, but reading that is like nails on a chalkboard…….

Trust me, it's no fun writing that. If I wasn't addicted to this forum lol I probably wouldn't even want to read the comments after a loss. It's painful but everyone goes through it

My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

Who's taking the trip up? I have a group of 8 flying into ATL Friday. I hope we're not the only ones.

Games such as Saturday’s against Georgia — Florida Atlantic is getting $1 million — help pay the bills.

“It’s a very difficult thing to do, but it’s like any hungry man, a piece of white bread seems like a pretty good meal if you don’t have pork chops,” Schnellenberger said.

From the Atlanta Journal Constitution:

Linebacker Chase Vasser and cornerback Sanders Commings are set to come off their two-game suspensions to play against Florida Atlantic on Saturday night. And their teammates can’t wait to see them back on the field.

Two deeps issued today per FAU..

Colley gets' the nod at center over Johnson on offense, and McKinney also in the starters spot at WR for the departed Paul Moore:

On the ESPN760 FAU Coach's Show, Pelini said that Martese Jackson tweaked his ankle, and didn't practice all week.

Said he relies on speed, so wasn't fair to play him.

Also, a few players went to the hospital today due to dehydration, but Pelini didn't mention any names.

Lastly, Travis Jones is still dealing with a hamstring issue.

So…the running game is strapped!

Last, but not least, for the day…

"We're getting ready for this week with Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, right where I went to high school," Georgia Coach Mark Richt said. "My house couldn't have been more than a mile and a half from campus, so this game is kind of close to home in a lot of ways for me.

"Coach (Carl) Pelini has taken the program over and is doing an outstanding job from what I can see so far," Richt continued. "Their quarterback (Graham Wilbert) is a tall kid who is very athletic, and they have some very good athletes. They're just a lean, athletic football team and they run very well, which you would expect from a team in South Florida. We're looking forward to getting back home 'Between the Hedges' and getting a chance to play ball again."
