Canes announce tailgating times for FAU opener

Post

In advance of the 2013 football season opener, the University of Miami Athletics Department has announced tailgating times for its games against FAU and Florida.

Parking information for Miami’s Aug. 30 game vs. FAU:

  • ·         RV lot will open at 2 p.m.
  • ·         Green lot will open at 3 p.m.
  • ·         Blue, Orange, Maroon and Purple lots will open at 4 p.m.
  • ·         Stadium gates will open at 6:30 p.m.
  • ·         Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. on ESPNU

My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

This probably isn't the best place for this comment but…if I buy tickets for this through the FAU ticket office, where is that section? Trying to decide if I should buy from them or just use ticketmaster…

I Just bought tickets for lower sideline on the 20-30 yardline of FAU. I am getting pumped for this game as most of you are! Just need to get parking or jump on an FAU bus

Boca Raton Home of your friendly neighborhood FAU.

From what I've heard or read (I think on here actually), the seats through FAU are on the visitors sideline but in the upper deck. As much as I'd like to help out FAU, that's just a big negative. As of a week ago I was able to find lower bowl seats, in the visitors section, on StubHub for $14

I was able to get seats in the lower section trough FAU … I'm guessing there were limited numbers available in the lower section.

I was told by my ticket guy that there is no benefit to buying the seats from FAU unless you want to sit with other fans.  They don't recieve a penny from the sales.

GO OWLS!
